Flamenco Evenings are held in the outside area on Friday & Saturday evenings with a 15 euro menu del noche. The Flamenco is really entertaining, modern mixed with traditional.

Of a lunchtime, you can choose to sit inside in the air conditioning or outside in a lovely courtyard which has a real Spanish feel.

We were very surprised at the quality of the menu del dia at this restaurant. For lunchtimes at 12 euros it was superb.

We were first served with  a home-made bread that was the best wed had in Spain (and possibly anywhere) with alioli and tomato dips. It made us quite excited to see what the rest of the food was like.

I had vegetable terrine and Roger had Chicken soup for starters. They were both lovely. The vegetable terrine was a wedge packed full of different vegetables in a creamy mushroom sauce, the chicken soup was really tasty and bright yellow with saffron, it also had tiny noodles in it and a square of puff pastry on the side. The presentation was excellent.

For main course, I had chicken and leek skewer, and Roger had pork loin with spinach and cheese, again, lovely presentation and both served with a tower of ratatouille and saut potatoes.

I was too full for a substantial dessert so I chose the melon. Roger had the chocolate tart and that was lovely too. They also have a good selection of a la carte desserts.

The service was really good, the waiters and waitresses are Spanish but speak good English and have a good sense of humour. All in all, based on our experiences, we would certainly recommend it. We have been back twice since then with friends, once more at lunchtime and once for the Flamenco on a Friday evening.
